HTAF salutes NMB Bank for financing lifesaving pediatric cardiac care

Through its TSh 1 billion, four-year commitment with Heart Team Africa Foundation (HTAF), NMB Bank Plc is strengthening pediatric cardiac care in Tanzania. Half of the funds have already been disbursed, enabling lifesaving treatment for 125 children nationwide. Recently, Managing Director and CEO Ruth Zaipuna led NMB officials to the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI) to witness the partnership’s impact.

In her speech, Ms. Zaipuna announced that the bank will disburse the remaining TSh 500 million in January 2026.
